Golden State Warriors center Zaza Pachulia slid under a jump-shot from Kawhi Leonard in Game 1 of the Western Conference finals, causing Leonard to suffer an ankle injury after landing on Pachulia’s foot.<br />

The play has been debated and dissected ever since, with plenty of folks believing that what Pachulia did was dirty at best, and intentional at worst. One of those with the latter opinion is Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich, who ripped Pachulia for his actions the very next day.<br />
<br />
In an interview with USA Today’s Sam Amick, Pachulia explained why he believed that rant from Popovich was directly responsible for the threats on social media that his family received.<br />
<br />
“I don’t blame everything on Pop, but what he said had a lot of influence (and) you had a lot of people where, unfortunately, you can’t control what everybody’s intelligence is,” Pachulia, who has an eight-year-old son, a seven-year-old son, and a four-year-old daughter with his wife, told USA TODAY Sports on Sunday. “(Fans) just hear the message, and it’s, ‘Ok, Pop said so and now let’s do this.’<br />

It’s just wrong. You’ve got to think, and realize. Threaten me, but don’t threaten my wife or say something about my kids. It’s just wrong.<br />

“Me as a person, as a man, I don’t mind dealing with it. But I hate to see my family deal with it. My wife and my kids who have nothing to do with it, who are very innocent. … I just hate my family going through that. They don’t deserve that. … I’m not blaming everything on (Popovich), but he was a very big part of it.”</blockquote>

Pachulia said that extra security was hired to guard the entrance to his kids’ school as a result of those threats — which he clearly believes were incited by Popovich’s words.<br />

Senator Leila de Lima on Tuesday dismissed the supposed complaint to be filed against her by alleged pork scam queen Janet Lim-Napoles as “worthless words,” saying only “fools” will believe her accusations.</div>

A Pinay nurse reaped this consequence when she decided to cheat on her husband, a tricycle driver, with an American doctor.<br />

The nurse’s alleged video with the doctor spread like wildfire across the internet, disappointing many who watched it.<br />

The most disappointing part, however, is that the nurse’s husband allegedly committed suicide upon seeing the video.<br />
<br />
According to the video’s caption, the Pinay nurse’s husband saw his wife’s video promptly committed suicide afterwards. However, it has yet to be confirmed whether or not the husband really did commit suicide.<br />

In the video, the American doctor is seen stripping off the Pinay nurse’s pants while she was lying down on a bed. The nurse shied away from the camera when the doctor attempted to take her blouse off. Eventually, the lady hid and went to one corner of the room out of the camera’s view.<br />
<br />
The doctor followed her and pulled her back to the bed to continue removing her shirt, which he succeeded in doing. Apart from hugging, kissing, and fondling, there was really nothing truly graphic about the footage.<br />

The experiment was starred by Joey Salads himself. He and his friend Tom set up a hidden camera for footage.<br />
<br />
Three groups of women who just got out of a bar were stalked by Salads and were eventually asked if they would like to go to an after party. Given that these women were intoxicated and with the presence of his flashy and sleek Chevy, they didn’t hesitate to get in.<br />
<br />
After a few minutes of driving, he stopped and asked why they didn’t hesitate to get in the car of a stranger.<br />

He then said, “I could’ve r*ped or kidnapped you.”</blockquote>
He told the women that there wasn’t actually an after party and also warned them to never get in a car of a stranger for they could get r*ped, or worse, killed.<br />
<br />
“This social experiment is victim blaming because the women are at the centre of the experiment, not the perpetrators,” says a The Survivor’s Trust spokesperson, a national agency for 130 r*pe, sexual violence, and childhood s*xual abuse support organizations.<br />

“Abduction, r*pe and s*xual assault happen because of rapists and perpetrators, not because of victims or women’s behavior. Framing it in this way supports prejudice and blame against victims,” the spokesperson added.</blockquote>

Joey Salads is a known Youtuber who created social experiments that have garnered a lot of attention from online users.<br />
<br />
Together with his team, they did tests such as the fake abduction of a kid in public and date-r*pe wherein women in a bar who left their drinks unattended were drugged.<br />
<br />
Salads is also known for his terrorist prank video wherein an actor dressed as a Muslim will throw a metal case to strangers. However, this video was called out online for being racist.<br />
<br />
Salads admitted he received assault and threats due to this video. Another known YouTube user Fousey/Tube was outraged about the video and against Salads.<br />
<br />
“I’m sick and tired of people relating the word terrorist to Islam in any way shape or form. Why is the Christian in your experiment dressed in normal clothing? If you were going to say anything and you wanted to push a stereotype have the other character dress as KKK and now tell me it’s okay,” he said.<br />

Fifteen senators think there is “no compelling reason to revoke” martial law in Mindanao, as they expressed full support for President Rodrigo Duterte’s declaration.<br />
<br />
Senate Resolution 388 expressing the sense of the Senate supporting Duterte’s martial law declaration was filed on Monday by 15 out of the 23 senators, all of whom belong to the majority bloc.<br />
<br />
“The acts committed by the Maute group are an open attempt to remove from the allegiance to the Philippine Government the part of Mindanao and deprive the Chief Executive of its powers and prerogatives to enforce laws of the land and to maintain public order and safety in Mindanao, hence constitutes the crime of rebellion,” the resolution read.<br />
<br />
“The Senate finds the issuance of Proclamation No. 216 to be satisfactory, constitutional and in accordance with the law. The Senate hereby supports fully Proclamation No. 216 and finds no compelling reason to revoke the same,” it added.<br />
<br />
The resolution was signed by Senate President Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III, Senate President Pro Tempore Ralph Recto, Majority Leader Vicente Sotto III, and Senators Sonny Angara, Nancy Binay, JV Ejercito, Sherwin Gatchalian, Richard Gordon, Gringo Honasan, Panfilo Lacson, Loren Legarda, Manny Pacquiao, Joel Villanueva, Cynthia Villar, and Miguel Zubiri.<br />

Senators Francis “Chiz” Escudero and Grace Poe are the only two majority bloc senators who did not sign the resolution.<br />
<br />
In a text message, Escudero said he was’t aware of the filing of such resolution.<br />
<br />
“I would have voted against revocation at this time in a joint session once a member of Congress files a motion to so revoke,” Escudero said.<br />
<br />
In a separate statement, Poe said that she does not object to martial law “if it is the pathway to ensuring the safety of our countrymen in Marawi.”<br />
<br />
While issuing a resolution supporting martial law is not required by law, Poe said it would have been “prudent” if the Senate highlighted the safeguards provided in the Constitution.<br />
<br />
“I will not renege on my duty in striking a balance between ensuring the safety of our kababayans in Marawi, and in ensuring that the constitutional safeguards against abuses are followed,” Poe said.<br />

The Senate minority bloc on Monday filed a resolution to convene Congress in joint session and review President Rodrigo Duterte’s declaration of martial law in Mindanao.<br />

Senate Resolution No. 350 was signed by Minority Leader Franklin Drilon, and Senators Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, Paolo Benigno “Bam” Aquino IV, Risa Hontiveros, Leila de Lima and Antonio Trillanes IV.<br />
<br />
The resolution said the joint session was necessary to determine the “constitutional and factual validity” of Proclamation No. 216 declaring martial law in Mindanao following the attacks of the ISIS-inspired Maute group in Marawi City.<br />
<br />
“It is incumbent upon the Senate and the House of Representatives to conduct a joint session for the purpose of determining the constitutional and factual validity of the proclamation, of preventing abuses in its implementation, and ensuring the safety of the people of Marawi and the whole of Mindanao,” the bloc said.<br />
<br />
The opposition group cited a Supreme Court (SC) decision in 2012, which says that the President and Congress “act in tandem” in exercising the power to proclaim martial law or suspend the privilege of the writ of habeas corpus.<br />
<br />
Senate President Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III earlier said it will be “useless” to convene Congress in a joint session if there is no intention to revoke the martial law declaration.<br />
<br />
Article VII, Section 18 of the Constitution states Congress may revoke the proclamation “voting jointly, by a vote of at least a majority of all its members in regular or special session.”<br />
<br />
In an interview, Pimentel said the resolution filed by the minority bloc will undergo the usual reference of business.<br />
<br />
“I don’t think we will talk about joint session [today]. We can talk about the report, inputs ng DND, questions. It will eat a lot of time already,” Pimentel told reporters before the senators went in closed-door executive session with security officials to discuss the martial law declaration.<br />
<br />
The Senate has only two days before it adjourns session sine die on Wednesday.<br />

Former budget secretary Florencio Abad and Senators Antonio Trillanes, Leila de Lima and Franklin Drilon, will soon face charges in connection to the PHP10-billion (USD200-million) pork barrel scam, Justice Vitaliano Aguirre II revealed Monday.<br />

Aguirre said the charges will be filed in the coming days by businesswoman Janet Lim Napoles, the alleged brains behind the scam that funneled lawmakers’ Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) into bogus non-government organizations.<br />

Last May, the Court of Appeals acquitted Napoles in the alleged illegal detention of her distant relative and corruption whistleblower Benhur Luy.<br />

The administration then floated the idea of turning Napoles into a state witness in its re-investigation of PDAF misuse under the Aquino government.<br />
<br />
President Rodrigo Duterte has accused the previous administration of shielding its allies from the pork barrel raps.<br />
<br />
Aguirre however denied that the new pork barrel probe was a ploy to discredit previous administration officials.<br />

MANILA, Philippines — Sens. Franklin Drilon and Antonio Trillanes IV on Monday morning denied any involvement in any irregularities regarding government funds such as the Priority Development Assistance Fund and the Disbursement Acceleration Program.<br />

The senators issued the statement after Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II claimed they are among the officials who would face charges after being named by pork barrel scam mastermind Janet Lim-Napoles as involved in the PDAF case.<br />
<br />
"I was never even mentioned in any of the so-called Napoles lists provided during the height of the investigations in 2013," Trillanes said in a released statement.<br />
<br />
Likewise, Drilon said in a statement: "I have said this many times before and I will say it again: I vehemently deny any insinuation by the Secretary of Justice that I was involved in any wrongdoing regarding the Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF)."<br />
<br />
In May 2014, Napoles released 100 names that she claimed she allegedly had transactions with in connection with the PDAF allocation to her non-government organizations from 2007 to 2009. In the list, she named 20 senators who allegedly received funds meant for their election campaigns.<br />
<br />
Trillanes and Drilon were not part of that list. The only current senators included in it were Senate President Aquilino "Koko" Pimentel, Sens. Vicente "Tito" Sotto III, Gregorio "Gringo" Honasan, Loren Legarda, Cynthia Villar, Alan Peter Cayetano and Francis "Chiz" Escudero.<br />

However, Aguirre said Napoles would release a new list which would include Sens. Leila de Lima, Trillanes, Drilon and former Budget Secretary Florencio Abad. Abad was already included in the 2014 list.<br />

"This is outright black propaganda and political harassment intended to silence the members of the opposition," Drilon said. "We would await the copy of the affidavit. We will respond at the proper time and in the proper venue," he added.<br />
<br />
Aguirre earlier said Napoles will reveal other higher officials under the Aquino administration who are involved in the PDAF scam. Trillanes then criticized the justice secretary for involving members of the opposition in various cases.<br />
<br />
"Aguirre has been using his office to persecute and harass members of the opposition by fabricating testimonies from dubious convicts or detainees such as the Bilibid drug lords, Kerwin Espinosa and now Napoles," Trillanes said.<br />
<br />
Drilon in a statement Monday echoed this, saying that the intention is obvious from the personalities being linked.<br />
<br />
"Sinu-sino ba ang target ng administrasyon: former President Benigno Aquino, former Budget Secretary Florencio Abad, Senator Sonny Trillanes, detained Senator Leila De Lima, and myself," he said.<br />
<br />
"If this is not revenge, I don't know what it is."<br />
<br />
For his part, Aguirre said this is not a ploy to discredit the Aquino administration nor take revenge against Duterte administration's critics. He said there is no reason for the president to do so.<br />
