Senator Leila De Lima refused to comment further on a viral video that said she partied with an alleged drug lord. 
 
"Ayaw ko patulan yung mga ganyang basura," said De Lima. 
 
She said she has already debunked the videos which were first released even before she assumed her post as senator.

A video clip and photo recently surfaced online claiming that De Lima was spotted with Herbert Colangco, a convicted robbery gang leader, at two parties in Manila and Quezon City. 
 
She said the video supposedly showing her with Colangco was actually taken during her own birthday party at the Department of Justice (DOJ) quadrangle back in August 2015. 
The person sitting next to her and who was speculated to be Colangco is actually Quezon City Rep. Alfred Vargas, De Lima added. 
 
She also noted that the other individuals shown in the 40-second clip were emcee Imelda Papin, former Justice Undersecretary Jose Vicente Salazar and other DOJ employees. 
De Lima also belied another "maliciously circulated" photo on Facebook supposedly showing her singing at the party of a drug lord. 
 
The photo, she said, was taken during the birthday party of her campaign supporter, Zaldy Aquino, at the Zirkoh comedy bar in Quezon City last December 28. 
 
She said this may be verified with the file videos and record of the establishment. 
 
President Rodrigo Duterte earlier named Colangco, Peter Lim and Peter Co as three alleged leaders of drug trafficking operations in the country. 
 
Colangco made headlines as a member of the so-called "Bilibid 19," a group of high-profile convicts who reportedly enjoyed perks while behind bars at the New Bilibid Prisons. 
 
De Lima, who is pushing for a Senate investigation on alleged extra-judicial killings of suspected drug pushers and users, also refused to comment on Duterte's meeting with alleged druglord Peter Lim. 
 
"Kaya nga pinu-push ko ang Senate inquiry para malaman ko ang whole complexion of this all-out drive against criminality particularly drugs," said De Lima. 
 
She added she wants to know the how the administration is receiving the criticisms against the anti-drug campaign of President Duterte. 
 
De Lima is expected to head the Senate Justice and Human Rights Committee.

“I WILL not allow these idiots to run their show, not during my watch.” 
With that stern warning, President Duterte on Thursday evening said he soon will name the mayors and politicians involved in the illegal drug trade. 
 
In a televised press briefing on state-run PTV4, Duterte showed a chart with the names of various local executives with links to drug lords and traffickers 
 
“Maraming mga mayor dito, they’re running the show,” he said, citing intelligence information. 
He said some of the mayors were from Mindanao, including a woman local executive. 
But the President said he was told by “intel people” not to disclose yet the names of the mayors. 
He advised politicians and individuals involved in the drug trade to “commit suicide” because they were humiliating the government and the people. 
 
“Talagang binabastos tayo ng mga drug people. They’re destroying the country. They’re destroying the youth of the land so my appeal to them is, since they are beyond their redemption, they can stop and commit suicide because I will not allow these idiots to run their show; not during my watch,” he said. 
 
Duterte identified the “top tier” drug lords in the country as Wu Tuan alias Peter Co, Peter Lim alias Jaguar and Herbert Colangco alias Ampang. 
He said Colangco is the son-in-law of Ozamiz City Mayor Aldong Parajinog. 
The President said Colangco was “connected with” Richard King who was killed in Davao City in June 2014. 
 
Colangco was among the Bilibid 19, a group of drug convicts living a luxurious lifestyle inside the national penitentiary. 
Duterte also accused retired Deputy General Marcelo Garbo of protecting drug lords and traffickers in the country.

MANILA - The alleged bullet-planting scheme in Philippine airports may now be a thing of the past after President Rodrigo Duterte prohibited authorities from arresting passengers for bullets in their luggage.</h3>

Senior Superintendent Mao Aplasca, new director of the police Aviation Security Group (Avsegroup), said Thursday that travelers would not be detained or charged in court if an ammunition is confiscated from them, as per Duterte's order. 
 
Passengers in possession of ammunition will instead undergo immediate profiling to clear them of links to any terrorist or criminal group, and of criminal intention in carrying the bullet.</div>

They would be allowed to immediately board their flight provided that no firearm is confiscated together with the ammunition, Aplasca added. 
 
"Laglag-bala modus operandi is a thing of the past and we assure the public that they no longer worry that they will miss their flight or get arrested at our airport for possession of an ammunition," he said.</div>

The "tanim bala" scam allegedly involves airport personnel who plant bullets in unsuspecting passengers' luggage. Once the passengers are apprehended, scammers reportedly ask for money in exchange for their release and record-free passports.</div>

Even before the presidential campaign, Duterte said if he were the country's president, he will have the perpetrators of the scam swallow bullets.</div>

He had also urged President Benigno Aquino III to personally address the matter as this has caused embarrassment for the country.</div>

Aplasca said the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA), Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP), and the transportation department will form a joint team that will conduct regular security planning for airports. 
 
Avsegroup is the main unit that maintains security in more than 80 airports across the country.
