The only child of former Secretary of State Hilary Clinton and ex-President Bill Clinton called President Rodrigo Duterte a "murderous thug" after calling out his rape joke.<br />

Chelsea Clinton commented on Twitter that Duterte's joke of owning up to one count of rape for every three that soldiers commit in Mindanao under the implementation of martial law.<br />
<br />
She then rebuffed criticisms on her honing in on Duterte's rape joke instead of the human rights violations purportedly committed under his administration by calling the president a "murderous thug" while insisting on her original point.<br />

The Clinton Foundation board member is the latest political figure to criticize Duterte's joke during his speech to the 2nd Mechanized Infantry (Magbalantay) Brigade of the Philippine Army in Iligan City.<br />

Gabriela Women's Party called the joke the "height of insensitivity" as it might embolden soldiers to "systematically use rape as a tool of war and subject women to further abuse and impunity."</blockquote>
Duterte expressed his support to troops in Iligan City on Friday and in jest said he could even go to jail for the soldiers if they committed rape.<br />

34-year-old Catherine St. Germain from Loveland, Colorado, was in the prime of her life. She had separated from her former husband, the father of her 15-year-old daughter, Alyssa, and was embarking on a new relationship with a man named Aaron Scott, whom she dearly loved.<br />

She had known him for 20 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a former police officer with three children of his own — a boy and two girls. He was affectionate, close to his family, intelligent, charming and a true romantic. It was like paradise on earth for Catherine, a kind of happiness unknown to her after so many years stuck in a loveless marriage.<br />

They married on June 18, 2014, but instead of exchanging rings they decided to get a tattoo that would forever mark the bond that united them. They literally sealed their marriage with blood and ink because she was certain she had finally found her happily ever after ...<br />

Almost a year later, on April 23, 2015, Catherine received a call from the police. She was instructed not to talk to Aaron, and to head over to the police station as soon as possible. Catherine had no idea what was going on, but could sense it was something serious.<br />

Upon arriving at the police station, Catherine’s world fell apart. Her daughter, Alyssa, was waiting there with the officers, who proceeded to tell her something she never imagined hearing: Aaron had sexually assaulted her daughter. Catherine felt her heart break when she heard that the man she loved and brought home had caused her child such harm.<br />

Catherine barely had contact with him again. She kicked him out of the house and sued for justice. Aaron maintained his innocence and argued that Alyssa was lying. But the DNA test proved otherwise. Only when he was cornered by the evidence did he accept a plea bargain. The conviction Aaron received outraged many and for this reason Catherine decided to make a video that has been viewed over 60 million times.<br />

The images and words are quite strong, and reveal how terribly difficult it has been to deal with this whole situation, especially for her daughter. Aaron was sentenced on January 20, 2016, to 90 days in prison and eight years of sex offender probation.<br />

For Catherine and everyone around her, the news came as a shock. How could this criminal be released after such a short period of time? In addition, she learned that the mother of Aaron's children had not been notified of the conviction. The terror grew inside her: just how many abusers are roaming the streets without anyone knowing? How many single mothers out there are letting predators enter their houses who are just waiting for the right moment to jump on their children?<br />

He thought that by taking her there, it will be the best thing for her, as she will recieve the needed care. the nursing home was in Peterborough, Ontario. After some period from being there, he noticed that his mother  had bruises and scratches on her face.<br />

First, he thought that maybe some other patients have done that to her, and he complained to the nursing home. Then he decided to install hidden digital cameras in her room. What he saw after that, was shocking.<br />

'From the first reading, from halfway in the first scene, there's no doubt, he's top-notch talent,' director Lee recalled. 'I was worried: Is he too handsome? But then his face is so compelling, it doesn't matter.'<br />
<br />
 Looking back at their first meeting, casting director Avy Kaufman added: 'Joe came with a backpack, with like one pair of underwear. He had not a clue he was going to stay. When I met him in person, he was just like how he was in the tape.'<br />
<br />
'I'd never been to America, and I was told I'd be going home the next day,' Alwyn told the Evening Standard of that first audition. 'So I turned up with a tiny little rucksack and a pair of boxers and a T-shirt.'<br />
<br />
He eventually flew to Atlanta for screen tests before discovering he'd landed the role during an early morning call from his agent, less than  day after returning to London.<br />
<br />
Reflecting on his breakthrough character, he told The Hollywood Reporter: 'In many ways, he's a long, long way away from me. I'm from London, and he's a Texan soldier. <br />

'But at the heart of it, the story is about a boy finding his place in the world. Although that takes place within this framework of this halftime show and the war and all these bigger things swirling around him, its heart is something very relatable.'<br />
<br />
Two months after his film debut, he landed another major role, in an adaptation of Julian Barnes' Booker-winning The Sense of an Ending.<br />
<br />
Signed by prominent American talent group Creative Artists Agency (CAA), Alwyn will next be seen in director Kristoffer Nyholm's Keepers, a psychological thriller that also stars Gerard Butler and Peter Mullan.<br />
