The municipality of Inabanga, Bohol released photos of the cave where members of the Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) allegedly hid before their bloody encounter with government forces.

The photos were first made public on Facebook.


The cave is located in Sitio Lagsing in the village of Bacani in between the towns of Inabanga and Clarin, roughly 100 meters where the body of ASG subleader Joselito Melloria was found.

Empty water and soda bottles, an empty sack, and a few pairs of slippers were found near the cave.

After killing four ASG members on Sat, Apr 22, authorities are still on the hunt for up to seven members of the militant group reportedly in Bohol.
