Excited na si Senador Antonio Trillanes sa pag-usad ng reklamong isinampa laban kay Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa International Criminal Court (ICC) sa the Hague, Netherlands.
Ang reklamong isinampa ng abogado ng self-confessed Davao Death Squad (DDS) member na si Edgar Matobato kaugnay sa kasong crimes against humanity dahil sa war on drugs ng Duterte administration.
Ayon kay Trillanes, magkaka-alaman na kung ano ang buong katotohanan sa likod pagkamatay ng libu-libong Filipino sa ilalim ng Oplan Tokhang at war on drugs ng administrasyon.
“We would now have a truly independent body that could find out the whole truth behind the slaughter of thousands of Filipinos and prosecute those behind it to include the enablers who allowed or encouraged it to happen,” ani Trillanes.
Naniniwala ang senador na lalabas kung sino ang nagsasabi ng totoo dahil walang puwedeng magmaniobra at walang sinuman ang kayang impluwesiyahan ang imbestigasyon ng ICC.
