In a series of photos posted by Facebook user Ala Jennifer Pabilona Panes, a gay couple exchanging their vows can be seen. It garnered snide remarks from many online users who think that their marital vows are against the teachings of the church and the bible.
While they seemed to be overjoyed because of their marriage, other netizens expressed disappointment and frustration. One point that netizens wanted to be clear about same-sex marriage is the couple’s inability to reproduce young ones.
They are concerned as to how gay couples would be able to procreate. Knowing that fertilization scientifically requires female and male reproduction systems, reproduction between gay couples is indeed impossible.
This concerns many netizens who think that the primary purpose of marriage is to reproduce.

People have their freedom to choose what to believe in. Because of this, it is always encouraged to respect other people’s perspective. It is not wrong to fight for what you think is right but it is ideal to let other people have their own opinions as well.
