Concerned residents reported that Rocaya Mao and daughters Jhawerah, 23, and Jamira, 21, were allegedly selling shabu to certain areas in Compostella Valley and even in Davao del Norte.
Members of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Region XI said narcotics is the Mao family's business but the family denied the allegations.
Mao is a municipal-paid public teacher in Nabunturan who teaches Arabic language to children while Jamira is an Alternative Learning System student.
Recovered from their possession were six sachets of alleged shabu with an estimated street value of P6,000.
They will be facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
This is the second drug operation in Compostella Valley since PDEA installed a provincial office here.
