KUALA LUMPUR, March 30 — A local police officer is receiving a lot of attention recently on social media and has gone viral for her good looks. Whether she's posing in feminine attire or in full police uniform, the petite Sibu lass seems to wow followers with her beauty and positive outlook in life.

Known only as Irene Y LM, the Facebook user frequently uploads selfies and other pictures of herself with motivational captions to encourage her followers to live better lives.

“Sometimes, it takes more courage to walk away than it does stay and fight,” she wrote in one such post. Another one reads: “You can break down a girl temporarily. But, a strong girl will always pick up the pieces, rebuild herself and come back stronger than ever.”

Some of her followers who were captivated by her looks also asked to be arrested. Claiming they have turned into ‘criminals’ overnight, with comments like “Please arrest me, I’m a wanted criminal!” and “Where are you working? I want to surrender myself,” occasionally peppered her pictures.

Though she may look sweet and unthreatening, she also shows us that she can kick butt and takes her job very seriously.

In a recent post, she wrote: “We work tirelessly day and night, we risk our lives in the line of duty, and sometimes we don’t have time for our family…

“Just because a few policemen lost their integrity, doesn’t mean everyone in the force is ‘dirty’. We don’t force you to like the police, but please at least give us some respect. The police are human, not tools.”
Irene is not the first woman in uniform to be cast under the spotlight for her good looks. More recently in Thailand, a 24-year-old nurse going by the name of Maypimm found instant fame when people started noticing her on Instagram.
