Canadian political analyst and commentator Amir Assadollahi in his Facebook page said that the War against drugs by President Rodrigo Duterte has been showing great results.
Assadollahi said this in line with the recent busting of drug operations in Tondo, Manila last Saturday, when in 100 million pesos worth of shabu was confiscated.
Assadollahi said that hte only problem is that mainstream media that are owned by cropped political and economic oliharchs have shown it to be otherwise.
He said foreign investments are increasing in the country, and some countries even opt. to build embassies in PH, feeling a lot safer now that Duterte is in charge
"That means that the Philippines is becoming to have stronger economic growth and foreign investment, bilateral and multilateral ecoomic agreements will continue to expand and grow," he said.
As of the moment Oplan Tokhang is on going and according to the numbers released by the polics, the government has conducted 40,982 anti-drug operations from July 1 last year to January 7 this year. The police killed 2,206 drug personalities during this period while 44,070 were arrested
