ABS-CBN is one of the top media networks in the country. An article of the said network caught the netizens attention because it says wrong headline about Duterte and Obama not shaking hands after the East-Asia Summit.
"I did shake hands with Pres. Duterte last night. It was not a long interaction. And what I indicated to him is that my team should be meeting with his and determine how we can move forward on a whole range of issues", Obama said.
Mean while, President Obama also said that he didn't take personally the comment of Duterte.
As we know, Gabby Lopez, the ABS-CBN owner is a Liberal Party ally.
During the interview of Sen. Cayetano, he admitted that Pres. Duterte and Pres. Obama did shake hands and had a good conversation on Wednesday night.
