Many fans have adored the couple because of how they choose to stay together despite the many controversial issues surrounding them.
In two viral Mother’s Day themed posts, Chito and Neri shared their “misadventures” after the rock star tried to set a fancy date for the two of them on social media.
As it happened, Chito wanted to treat his lovely wife to a Mother’s day date by buying her flowers and reserving a table for them at Antonio’s Restaurant.
According to Chito’s Instagram post, he had to down a glass of water because his heart sank when he saw the prices at this expensive restaurant! Apparently, water was the only item he could afford on the menu!
His social media post read:
“Nung nakita namin yung menu, napa-order ako agad ng tubig.He felt rather embarrassed at arriving at the restaurant even though he couldn’t afford it.
Una, dahil muntik na ako himatayin.
Pangalawa, kasi yun lang yung kaya ko ma-afford.”

To change up the traditional Mother’s day celebration, Neri decided to treat Chito to the table her hubby reserved.
It was Neri’s way to show how appreciative the actress was for her husband’s efforts.
Here’s the caption of her Instagram post:
“Itsura ng ka-date ko parang napasubo ah! Haha!Pero kahit Mother’s Day ngayon, gusto ko ako naman ang magtreat sa asawa ko. Para malaman nya na naa-appreciate ko lahat ng ginagawa niya para sa akin at para sa anak namin. Sana mabasa niya na ‘to para makahinga hinga naman siya at makakain na ng maayos, hahaha!”
Nagpa reserve siya sa Antonio’s para dito daw kami magcelebrate ng Mother’s Day, yung nakita nya ang menu, jusmiyo! Hahaha! Napa inom na lang siya ng tubig, haha!
Itsura ng asawa ko parang nagko-compute kung magkano yung babayaran nya at kung kasya yung dala nyang pera. Hahahaha!
